WHAT IS YOUR CAPACITY?
Our capacity varies by area of the Venue:
WHAT IS YOUR “HOLD” POLICY?
We can hold one date for up to seven days at no charge (starting the day you receive the contract from us.) At the end of those seven days, we will either release the date if we don’t hear back from you, or we can reserve it for you with a returned and signed contract along with your deposit for half of the contract price.
ARE OTHER EVENTS SCHEDULED ON THE SAME DAY?
The Nursery’s sprawling gardens allow for simultaneous events to take place. Although, we also understand the desire for complete privacy and therefore offer a complete buy-out of the property.
DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?
No, but we have compiled a list of exceptional catering and bar vendors that are sure to satisfy every pallet and budget. If you have specific dietary or religious restrictions, please contact our events team at email@example.com for alternative catering options. All food must be supplied by a licensed and insured vendor.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED?
Yes. If you choose to have alcohol for your event, you must coordinate through one of our licensed and insured catering and bar vendors who can provide bartenders and the necessary licenses and insurance.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
If it rains, your wedding ceremony may be held in a tent, or moved to our covered Greenhouse (additional Venue fees may apply). Tent rentals will need to be coordinated with an outside vendor, and our staff will be happy to provide recommendations.
IS PARKING PROVIDED?
Due to our limited onsite parking, we require any event with a guest count greater than 30 guest to select our valet option. Valet pricing estimates can be found in both our 2019 Pricing Guide or 2020 Pricing Guide
HOW MANY RESTROOMS ARE INCLUDED IN THE VENUE RENTAL?
As we have several areas of the property available for venue rental and the restrooms included are as follows:
The Waterwall/Front Garden rental includes two (2) restrooms
The Upper Lawn/Back Garden/Greenhouse includes two (2) restrooms
A Full Venue Buy-Out includes all four (4) restrooms
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING THE NURSERY?
Our staff will detail the event space and the restrooms following your event. Although, all vendors contracted are responsible for the removal of their belongings, decor, perishables and trash, and caterers must leave the prep area in the clean orderly manner they received it. All vendors must be cleaned up/packed up and off the property within 2 hours of your contracted event end time.
DO YOU PROVIDE ANY TABLES OR CHAIRS IN THE VENUE FEE?
Yes! We include beautifully rustic Oak cross back chairs and 60” round tables for up to 150 guests with a complete side rental and up to 300 guest for a Full Venue Buy-Out. Linens are not included. Matching chair rentals and additional tables are available for larger guest counts thru our Preferred Vendor list.
DO I NEED TO HIRE A WEDDING COORDINATOR?
We do require that you hire a professional event coordinator to manage the details of your wedding/event. You can find recommendations for Wedding Coordinators on our Preferred Vendor List, but are not limited to booking them.
WHEN IS MY REHEARSAL TIME?
A one-hour ceremony rehearsal will be available to the client at no cost during the week before the wedding on a space-available basis. Rehearsal dates and times will be schedule 30 days prior to your scheduled event.
CAN AN EVENT GO PAST 10PM? IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO PAY?
All outdoor spaces have a 10P noise ordinance. Although you may extend your event until Midnight if you have selected to rent the Greenhouse. Additional hours beyond your scheduled event time can be added at a rate of $1000/hour.
